11th Grade College Checklist

• Request Transcripts to review your “A – G” Courses and retake any without “C” or better
• Research Colleges and begin narrowing down list
• Take the PSAT in October. The PSAT taken in the 11th grade and the scores received can qualify students for the National Merit Scholarship Funds
• Practice writing college admissions essays and Personal Insight Questions
• Create resume
• Complete Career Assessment (Lesson 11.2 Naviance)
• If you’re considering playing DI or DII sports, register with the NCAA Eligibility Center
• Apply for Scholarships
• Complete your FAFSA/Dream Act ID. Review the FAFSA website
• Review, compare consider all college option including financial aid.
• Visit College Campuses
• Apply for College Fly in programs
• Take the SAT/ACT
