Magnet Coordinator

Hello Roman Family:

 

I am excited to help grow our magnificent STEAM Magnet. As coordinator, my job is to ensureOur program has some of the best instructors and brightest students in the district. The opportunities are truly limitless I have been a teacher

 

(13 years). I have taught K-6th grade and have been a social emotional counselor for 12 years. I have been a EL Designee and helped many students to reclassify from the English Language Development program.  I began my career in teaching in 1996 but before that, I was a Teacher's Assistant from 1989-1996. I went to East LA college, Cal State LA, USC, and National University. I am an immigrant from El Salvador. My family and I came to the United States in 1978. I am happy to be of service.
