  The Santa Clara County of Education (SCCOE) builds a culture that promotes equity and values everyone by strengthening, sustaining, and ensuring inclusive practices.   The 6th Annual Inclusion Collaborative State Conference is an interactive and reflective educational opportunity to understand and learn evidenced based practices for individuals involved in the care and education of children from prenatal to age 24 with and without disabilities to create or enhance equity, diversity and inclusive practices in their respective programs and communities in which they live.

• 5:02 5 Minute Timer - I Dreamed A Dream

  This is an example of a 5-minute timer used in class with music coming in around halfway through the time.
  
  A timer of this length would be used for short classroom tasks.
  
  Played at a low level, the music breaks the oftentimes cold silence in the classroom and brings a coffee shop or library experience to the class, while managing every minute of class time. Because of the wide range of learners in an inclusion classroom, inclusion co-teachers must make use of each second as efficiently as possible.
