Hello hello hello!

 

I'm originally from Oklahoma but spent my formative years living outside of the United States (Puerto Rico, The Bahamas, and Singapore). I hightailed it back to the United States for my undergrad where I attended the University of Oklahoma and received a BA in Film and Media Studies. I have been in Los Angeles for 16 years, working in the entertainment industry before transitioning into teaching and earning my credential at Cal State LA. My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students to develop a passion for reading and enhance their writing skills.

 

When I'm not in school, I can be found working on my next writing project, dominating an escape room, challenging my loved ones to a board game, deep in a streaming binge, or hanging out with my pup, Lulu.
