Ms. Nicolette Earl

Counselor - College Center

EarlI'm so happy to see everyone! I'm Nickie Earl, counselor this year for the Senior Class.
It's a new year and a new world! We have a the new bell schedule which will be 8 classes (4 each day in blocks). This will offer students new opportunities we never had under the previous schedule.
A bit about me: I'm in my 4th year as a Roman counselor, but previous to that I was a middle school counselor and teacher for 22 years. I have two sons, one of whom is starting college this year along with his older brother. I'm so proud of them. I'm so excited to meet you all in person as soon as possible!

Mr. Rashaan Washington

Counselor - 9th Grade

WashingtonIt is my pleasure to be here at Los Angeles Senior High School as the 9th Grade School Counselor. I am excited and looking forward to supporting students, parents and staff this upcoming school year.  The foundation of my approach to education and school counseling is to provide resources to ensure our students are getting their needs met.  My key areas of focus will be supporting students with academics achievement, attendance & social-emotional needs. In addition, guidance with college preparation, character development & extra-curricular activities will also be provided.

I am new to LAUSD, however I have been a school counselor and school administrator working with 6th - 12th grade students in the Los Angeles metropolitan area for over 13 years.  As a native of Los Angeles and graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA (undergrad)/ University of Houston in Texas (grad),  I pride myself on being connected to the communities I serve students and live within.  I believe it takes a village to prepare our students for success in school and beyond, with that being said I want to be accessible to parents as well so that we can work together.  I look forward to meeting you all, I will be located in the main office (310) 900-2700 ext. 2759.
