Welcome to Robotics 

Thanks for visiting our page and showing your interest in our endeavor! Some of you may ask yourselves, "What is robotics?" Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots. Why robotics? Well, we have the privilege of carrying our the name of our city and we have decided to honor our school and its name by taking a bigger step and competing in the FIRST U.S. Robotics Competition. The FRC is an annual competition that challenges teams of young people and their mentors to solve a common problem in a six-week time frame using a standard kit of parts and a set of rules. The teams build robots from scratch and compete against other schools. FRC rewards students with the ability to overcome obstacles, develop designing skills, cooperation skills, and achieve academic maturity.
