Greetings to all Roman Families! Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year, and we especially extend our warm welcome to new students and families of Los Angeles High School.
In our efforts to fully prepare today’s youth to be college and career ready, we at Los Angeles High School, are committed to providing Roman students an excellent education that move beyond mastery of content recall. Therefore, all students will be provided rich learning opportunities to become independent, creative and critical thinkers to thrive in the 21st century. Specifically, we will continue to guide students on the Four Cs’ of 21st century skills:
2). Creativity and Innovation
3). Critical thinking and Problem Solving
I firmly believe that all Roman students, parents, faculty and staff are valuable members of our learning community. As such, it is expected that all stakeholders remain engaged in the learning process and contribute to a positive environment that fosters growth at all levels. Furthermore, I ask that each and every one of us bring our “A” game, our best selves, to this dynamic community all help all students achieve.
In closing, it is my great privilege to serve and lead Los Angeles High School. I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s growth.
